Branch services increase again on 7 May

As of 7 May, we are increasing services in Landsbankinn's branches and the Corporate Banking Service Centre in Borgartún again. To allow the Bank to respect the two-metre distance rule, service is by appointment only.

Appointments for service in branches and the Corporate Banking Service Centre can be made on the Bank’s website or by emailing landsbankinn@landsbankinn.is.

The Customer Service Centre is open on weekdays from 9:00-16:00. It provides all main banking services via phone, tel. +354 410 4000, through online chat and by email to landsbankinn@landsbankinn.is.

The Customer Service Centre will be open on the weekend 2-3 May and answers calls to +354 410 4000 between 11:00-15:00.

Please note that:

  • Customers can tend to almost all banking business using Landsbankinn’s app, online banking or the Bank’s website.
  • Landsbankinn’s ATMs in 60 different locations throughout the country, have withdrawal, deposit, bill payment and transfer functions. The Landsbankinn app shows the distance to the nearest ATM.
  • Advice and assistance will continue to be provided over the phone. Phone consultations can be ordered on the Bank’s website.
  • Cash services will primarily be provided through self-service equipment, i.e. ATMs and cash roll dispensers.
  • Branch employees will assist customers in the use of self-service equipment while respecting the two-metre rule.
  • The application process for payment deferral on housing loans and special disbursement of private pension savings can be completed on the Bank’s website.
