Solutions and options for customers
Landsbankinn offers various solutions to individuals who expect to have difficulties making payment due to unexpected circumstances, such as unemployment or illness, including the option to apply for deferment of instalments on housing loans. Various solutions are also available to companies who bank with Landsbankinn and experience temporary difficulties.
Note that the Landsbankinn app and online banking allow you to alter your overdraft limit, smooth credit card bill payment and apply for Aukalán loans for up to 5 years.

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, we ask that customers utilise the Bank’s digital services rather than visit branches whenever possible.
